Postgraduate Seminar Series - Landscape Architecture

 

On Tuesday, January 22, 2025, the doctoral seminar session for Landscape Architecture PhD candidates was held in the Doctoral Judgment Hall of the Graduate Studies Building, Faculty of Fine Arts, according to the prearranged schedule. The following presentations were made in order:
Mr. Zia Hosseynzadeh, presenting on the topic "A Human-Centered Model of Spatial experience".
Supervisors: Dr. Saeed Haghir , Dr. Hossein Sameti
Advisor: Dr. AbdolHossein Vahhabi,
Ms. Delaram Sabokroo, presenting on the topic "Urban void:an opportunity to enhance the quality of urban landscape (case study: Tehran)".
Supervisors: Dr. Seyed Amir Mansouri, Dr. Saeed Khaghani,
Ms. Mihraban Osman Mustafa, presenting on the topic "Analysis the role of physical and ecological continuity of green space in improving the quality of urban landscape (case study: District: A Case Study of District 22, Tehran".
Supervisors: Dr. Ebrahimi, Dr. Janipour
Advisor: Dr. Khansefid
Mr. Mehdi Hosseinzadeh, presenting on the topic "Developing a Conceptual Model for Urban Landscape Reading".
Supervisors: Dr. Seyed Amir Mansouri, Dr. Shahaboddin Kermanshahi
Following these initial presentations,
Mr. Mohammadreza Forouzandeh delivered his second doctoral seminar on the topic "Normative City" as  the Key Factor in Enhancing Urban Landscap".
Supervisors: Dr. Seyed Amir Mansouri, Dr. Naser Barati
Finally, Ms. Reyhaneh Khorramrooyei presented her third seminar on the topic "Transformations in Tehran’s Green Landscape from the Naseri Era to the Present (1848–2024)".

Each student was allocated 20 minutes to present their research findings. Following each presentation, internal and external faculty members, as well as the respective supervisors, provided feedback and comments. The presenters then addressed questions raised during the discussions.
The session was conducted continuously from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, with active participation from faculty members and students in both in-person and virtual formats.
