How is it that a nation rises against tyranny and oppression and maintains its optimism in the most difficult of times? It seems that the people of Iraq, whose history is characterised by constant rise and fall, have bravely overcome such trials.

The international exhibition entitled "Iraq: 100 Years of History, Culture and Struggle" depicts the recent history of Iraq in a series of carefully chosen photographs and images in order to tell the story of a people who have struggled through different conflicts and political strife. This exhibition, which was mainly orchestrated by the Iraqi students of the College of Fine Arts, will be open to the public from 15 - 17 April from 9am until 4pm at the main exhibition hall.

The opening ceremony will be on15th April at 10am with the presence of the ambassadors of Iraq and other nations.
