On Tuesday 9th May, a group of 15 Architects and Urban Planners from the city of Hamburg visited the School of Architecture and the College of Fine Arts. Led by Christoph Schwartzkopf (Architect and Executive Officer of Monument Preservation in Hamburg) the group met with Dr. Yahya Islami and discussed a variety of issues ranging from architectural education and practice in Iran to the history, art and culture of Iran and its reflection in the international scene. The visit was concluded by a lecture by Christoph Schwartzkopf and a visit to the studio 5 of the school of architecture. The event was the result of a cooperation between the CFA International Affairs Office, School of Architecture, Centre of Excellence in Urban Planning and Sustainable Urban Development and Centre of Excellence in Architectural Technology
