The "Kheshte Noe" workshop was a collaboration between the University of Tehran's School of Architecture and the School of Art and Architecture of Yazd University. The workshop was from 9 - 13 May 2017 and pursued the following themes:

- principles and methods of conserving adobe structures;

- introduction to using mud bricks in world architecture;

- introducing methods of improving mud bricks in terms of structural behavior and aesthetics in order to use them in contemporary structures;

- familiarizing students with the concept of adobe architecture.

The workshop was supervised by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Khademzadeh and Dr. Mohsen Abbasi.
Other contributors included Mohammadali Daneshi-rad, Dr. Farahza and Sasha Riahi.
