The Sunbrella company organized the fourth International Competition entitled "Future of Shade". Sunbrella was established in 1961 
and is the biggest producer of performance fabrics used in architecture and other applications. The goal of this competition was finding novel ideas using the products of this particular company. Like the previous years, this competition had three different sections:
 Humanitarian Challenge, Wellness Garden Challenge, Building Shade Challenge
.


Considering the significance of the subject matter, a group of students from the Master of Architectural Technology course, led by Dr. Katayoun Taghizadeh and Dr Ali Andaji prepard their proposals. After submission, a project entitled "The Cube" by Shirin Shobeiri, Zeynab Bagherian and Sara Gharavi was mentioned among the innovative entries in the Humanitarian section of the competition.
