On Sunday 7th May 2017, a group of cultural representative comprising of the Director of Cultural Cooperation and the Second Secretary of the Cultural Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the First Secretary of Cultural Affairs of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Curator of Gyeongju National Museum, visited the College of Fine Arts and conducted a meeting with the International Affairs Adviser to the College of Fine Arts and other senior academics and staff. During this meeting, the idea of further collaboration between Iran and South Korea in 2017 was discussed and various proposals for realizing this ambition was elaborated. It was agreed that art and culture can play a central role in introducing the two nations to each other and pave the way for future collaboration and exchange between the two countries.
