The book " Reviving the Iranian Garden Pattern in Today, s Cities" by Dr. Seyedamir Mansouri, Associate Professor of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Tehran, was published in 2020 by the Nazar Research Institute of Art, Architecture and Urban Planning.
The Iranian Garden is a cultural product with a very long history that has been created and developed during the different civilizations of the land of Iran. Although it has experienced many changes throughout history, some of its principles have remained relatively constant in a remarkable and thoughtful way and have taken on the responsibility of continuing the Iranian identity of the garden in its various examples. The study of these principles has been the subject of various studies, the aesthetic aspect of which is one of their attractive and practical dimensions. This article briefly examines the Iranian garden from this perspective in 6 chapters. In the first chapter, the aesthetic issues of the Iranian garden are examined, and in the other 5 chapters, the rules of 5 examples of Iranian gardens today are examined. These rules are the most important common points of the projects introduced in this book under the title of Contemporary Readings of the Persian Garden.
