Considering the importance and need for the field of interior architecture, which differs from interior design and interior decoration, this emerging discipline was established in the master's program at the School of Architecture at the University of Tehran in 2010. After a decade, we aimed to contribute to the introduction and proper pathway of this overlooked field in the country by founding the first Interior Architecture Students Union at the University of Tehran.

This union was established to enhance the knowledge and skills of students in the field of interior architecture, acting as a bridge between students, faculty, and industry professionals. It organizes a variety of activities, including workshops, seminars, and design competitions. The main goal of the Interior Architecture Scientific Association is to provide a space for discussion, learning, and professional development for students in this field. Additionally, the union can assist students in creating professional networks and connecting with the job market.
