The trilogy in the Iranian landscape is an ancient and unknown reality. Usually, in these places, the custom of sacrificing at the foot of a spring and a tree was performed, which we still witness in all corners of Iran. In ancient times, offerings and sacrifices were made to the gods of the moon and the sun, asking for rain and abundant crops, livestock and human fertility. At another time, sacrifices, vows and needs appeared in new beliefs, but with ancient forms and sometimes with slight changes in accordance with the new religion, and many of these customs and traditions have survived and are held today. The authors of the book have depicted many similarities through extensive travels to Iranian cities and villages and careful observation of the conditions of these places. Despite the changes in Iranian religions and beliefs throughout history and the many differences in geographical, climatic and historical conditions in different parts of Iran, this degree of similarity in ritual places is remarkable, and the result of this multi-year research is the explanation of the triple theory of the Iranian landscape. The subject of the book is analyzed in 4 chapters. The first three chapters examine the triple concepts, and the fourth chapter examines the triple concepts by analyzing various examples.
Chapter 1: Water in Iranian Culture
Chapter 2: Trees in Iranian Beliefs
