Description
The book "Vernacular Landscape of Kamoo & Chogan" was published by Dr. Seyed Amir Mansouri, Associate Professor of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Tehran, in 2020 by the Nazar Research Institute of Art, Architecture and Urban Planning.
The high altitude of Camo and the lack of dust and humidity in its mountainous area have given such clarity to the space that the colors of the sky and the earth and everything in it appear differently. It seems that in addition to the altitude and weather, Camo's location on the ground and the benefit of the maximum angle of sunlight are also factors in the transparency of this land. In addition to this relative advantage, the natural, agricultural, rural and regional landscape of Camo also has capacities and characteristics that will make any wise planning for them a success. This book is the product of a trip by a group of researchers from the Nazar Institute of Art, Architecture and Urban Planning to the Kamo and Chogan region, which was held in 2018 with the support of the Islamic Council of Kamo and Chogan. The articles in this book, in six chapters, provide separate perspectives on the interpretation and understanding of the land, people, art, nature, history, urbanization, architecture and agriculture of Kamo.
Chapter 1: Ritual-Heritage Landscape
Chapter 2: Rural Landscape
Chapter 3: Natural Landscape
Chapter 4: Agricultural Landscape
Chapter 5: Folk Landscape
Chapter 6: Travel Photo Album
