The book "The Landscape of Kashan" was published in 2015 by Dr. Seyed Amir Mansouri, Associate Professor of the Department of Landscape Architecture, University of Tehran, by Nazar Research Institute of Art, Architecture and Urban Planning.
Understanding space is only possible through its experience. In today's world, where, thanks to the development of media, classical educational environments have lost their past effectiveness, the need to review the educational method, especially in fields related to space, is more evident than ever. Travel as an action to experience space is the introduction to modern education. Experience has shown that the understanding gained from travel and the sense of space can never be compared to the abstract understanding derived from books and classes or photos and films. A research trip to Kashan with a program to experience spaces and understand their entirety with a group of researchers from Nazar Research Institute in 2015 is an exercise for a new way of understanding place and landscape. The product of the trip is also scientific notes, which readers can judge by considering their collection to what extent this method is true to its claim.
