The book "Architecture, Travel and Learning" by Dr. Seyedamir Mansouri, Associate Professor of the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Tehran, and Dr. Fatemeh Khozaei, Assistant Professor, Department of Architecture, Dhofar University, Oman, was published in 2018 by Nazar Art, Architecture and Urban Planning Publications.
Transformation in direct (e.g., school and university) and indirect (e.g., media and cultural relations) across the world from teaching to learning has brought about big changes in the life of people. Tourism is one of the socio-cultural and economic programs that can play a leading role in learning. This industry is expanding rapidly in today’s world and its application not only in technical and economic areas but also in general an area has received wide attention. People from different social class backgrounds are involved in this industry. The liberty of tourists has encouraged the educational authorities to make it goal oriented. It is assumed that new and unexpected types of tourism are on the way. This book is the result of the authors' experience, along with a research group, from traveling to France and Italy. An experience that was achieved through the new method of "exploratory learning" and contains valuable findings.
