Considering the importance of local architecture in the Hawraman area of Western Iran as one of the national and international cultural treasures of Iran, the necessity of recognizing the values of rural architecture for achieving sustainability in these areas became of great concern. For this reason, the muncipality of Kurdistan (region of Iran) wishes to collaborate with the School of Architecture, University of Tehran and the research team of Hawraman in order to hold a three day event in Hawraman. Following this event will be an exhibition of master of architecture student work with the same design topic.
