From Studio to Exhibition 7

After a five-year hiatus, From Studio to Exhibition 7 made its return to the School of Architecture. This event, organized in collaboration with the Architecture Students’ Scientific Association, was held from December 1 to December 12, 2024. A total of 64 selected works from studio courses of the School of Architecture during the 2023-2024 academic year were exhibited. Undergraduate students' works (43 pieces) were displayed in the Exam Hall, while graduate students' works (21 pieces) were showcased in the Gallery Hall of the College of Fine Arts.

For the first time, a voting process was conducted among visiting students and professors to select two outstanding projects from each academic level. In the undergraduate category, 399 individuals participated in the voting, with Foad Alaei Tafti securing first place with 69 votes. Apameh Aghelinezhad (39 votes) and Sheyda Pashangpour (30 votes) took second and third place, respectively. In the graduate category, out of 361 votes cast, Morvarid Fathi won first place with 78 votes, followed by Ali Ahmadi Moghadam (68 votes) and Roya Kaboli (43 votes). The two top-ranked projects were displayed in the School of Architecture office for a year.

The poster and other visual identity elements of this exhibition were inspired by the turquoise blue and gray tones of the storage lockers used by architecture students in the studios. These lockers were also repurposed as ballot boxes for voting.

The closing ceremony of From Studio to Exhibition 7 took place on Monday, December 9, 2024, in the Gallery Hall of the College of Fine Arts. During the event, after the announcement of the voting results, the school’s executive board honored the two winning students. Additionally, all participating students received an official certificate from the School of Architecture.
