Today, Iran is witnessing the rapid growth of innovation centers, accelerators, and science and technology parks—institutions that are moving away from the enclosed, suburban models of the past toward urban contexts and open, interactive models. If this transformation occurs without a precise understanding of urban contexts, social needs, and spatial–technical requirements, it may turn the great opportunity for urban and economic renewal into a threat, manifesting as social fragmentation or physical incompatibility.
